OVERVIEW

Edensor is the nearest village to Chatsworth and most of the buildings are 'tied'houses. Edensor was originally nearer to the House but was removed to its present position as it 'spoilt' the view from the house. Most of the buildings date from around 1840 and were re-built at the command of the 6th Duke of Devonhire.

Picturesque route on smooth surfaces. Had to divert around the Chatsworth flower show which was using the field after the bridge.
