OVERVIEW The name 'Willen' is derived from an od English word 'Wylig' meaning 'at the willows'. The village of Willen is home to an attractive brick-built church with an ornate tower. The church was built in the 17th century, designed by a colleague of Sir Christopher Wren and funded by his Headmaster. |
