Beautiful scenery. Some hilly parts and can be quite muddy off road. Great for running on trails. Lots of 10k and 5k events with parking available. Added advantages of wild life to be spotted. Well worth a visit.

just started running there with my dog, i live in solihull so its about a 30 minute drive to get there, but well worth it. if its your first time get a guide/map from the Town entrance information centre. paths are easy to follow but venture off at your own risk, its very easy to get disorientated

I run in Sutton Park two or three times per week - It has good tarmac paths and good trails of all grades. You can run through the woods on animal tracks or stick to the safe paths. I have occasionally ended up in mud / bog wondering how to get back again so it can be a bit challenging if you want it to be!- especially after rain.
Fantastic lakeside views and lots of variety. Plenty of free parking too.
