OVERVIEW A great park to run around and through, with good tarmac and gravel pathways. A complete circuit of the park is just under 2 miles and passes Crystal Palace Stadium, the dinosaur park, the BBC transmitter, the Crystal Palace museum and the steps and colonnades where Crystal Palace itself used to be situated. The Palace was moved from Hyde Park and re-constructed on this site in 1854 and remained here until it famously burnt down in 1936. There are 5 free car parks and Crystal Palace Station is right next to the park. You will find the toilets, a cafe, the information centre and a water fountain near to the Thicket Road entrance and car park.
