OVERVIEW

Haysden Country Park is very picturesque with lots of trails and paths, two lakes and the River Medway running through it and loads of wildlife. There is a National Cycle Route running through it which links it, off road, with Tonbridge Castle and Racecourse Sportsground in one direction and (almost entirely off road) with Penshurst Place in the other direction - so lots of possibilities for runs of various lengths. There are loads of other activities available in the area also, such as an indoor/outdoor swimming pool near the castle, boat hire and boat trips on the river (from Racecourse sportsground), day ticket angling and childrens play areas.
