OVERVIEW This is a medium sized wood just north of Junction 3 of the M50, straddling the Herefordshire and Gloucestershire border. There are several parking positions around the wood, mixed terrain of decent hardpack paths to muddy but defined trails. There is also a lake and some challenging climbs through the undulating terrain. It is low traffic, both mechanical and human and is a great location for a woody run. All the parking is free and as for cycling there are no specific prohibitions other than an expectation that there should be no off-track excursions to maintain what is a sensitive ecological area. Horse riding and cycling happen regularly on that basis. Info and photos supplied by Matt Jones
