OVERVIEW

Burgess Park has numerous tarmac paths, former roads(now closed to traffic) and grassy trails. It covers 46ha (113 acres), one of the largest parks in South London, in an area not over endowed with open spaces. The Surrey Canal Walk across the centre is a straight, flat, 0.88 miles along the infilled canal. The park features a lake, gardens, childrens playground and many sports facilities.
