OVERVIEW

A lovely countryside park with a picturesque lake as a focus. If you want to run around the lake the distance is 0.85 miles and the surface is tarmac. Alternatively there are fairly large areas of heathland and woodland to explore, generally on stony paths. There is a childrens' playground and the lake is popular for use by model boat enthusiasts. There is a small daily car parking charge.
