OVERVIEW

Lying in a fold in thickly wooded hillsides, Rudyard Lake is a haven of peace and tranquility and is less than a mile from the A523 that links Leek to Macclesfield. The path around the lake is approx 5 miles and is suitable for running and cycling. There are watersports on offer (seasonal) for families, the Rudyard Lake steam railway (also seasonal)
