Can the web people tell me where they are up to with the run loggingg app?

I'm currently using Runkeeper app which is a great app BUT a bobbins web site. I MUCH prefer GRG.

I'll probably end up getting a Garmin of some description which I beleive can link to GRG via Garmin Connect ? Have I got that right?

Bottom line is I want a nice way to log my runs whilst I'm out via GPS and get them on here.

Hi Brian

We are just about to submit the App to the iphone and Android stores for approval.  I believe this then takes up to 3 weeks, so it may be worth holding off until then.  However I can't completely guarantee the timescale, just in case something unforseen comes up!

But yes you can link via most Garmins apart from Garmin Fenix which won't connect.

Very glad you prefer GRG!

p.s. you must be one of our longest members!  Thank you for sticking with us!

Not to make this a 'love in' but GRG is by far the best runningg log site. Where would I be without the route planner - spend hours on that.

Just need the app. I like Runkeeper especially the voice update every 5 min telling me duration, distance and average pace.

Unfortunately our App won't have the voice update (the budget didn't run to that, besides we've tried to make it as simple to use as possible) , but it will accuractely GPS with pace and time and splits to view at the time and after on the App.  It will then send all the information automatically through to your online GRG log book.  It will also have a search facility for recommended routes to check out and follow.  Hope you enjoy it!

Thats good enough for me - as long as it automatically logs my run so it saves me manually having to copy it over from Runkeeper.

I can always use both Apps if I want the voive updates.
