Hi Ya,

Ive been adding routes to my saved routes area, and now see the benefit of adding notes to see on the fly out box, however i cant seem to find a way to add notes to a pre existing route.

Also, I renamed an existing route and the notes I had saved disappeared and there is no apparent facility to add notes at the point of renaming the route

I hope im not missing the obvious :-)

Thanks Robin

Hi John

Thanks for the reply, Ive found at least two ways of amending notes now ----- no prize for me for looking... lol
I cant get it to lose the notes ive entered either now, put it down to me being a plonker :-)

A question for you if I may... have you ever been asked to provide or would you consider an import facillity for the Polar .hrm and .pdd/pwd files?
The reason I ask is im a Polar user, ive been a fan since i bought my first in 2005 now im on my third watch.  I love the import gpx feature in GRG as im creating all my regular routes automatically now.  The only pain is entering the logged runs as im having to copy data from the polar desk top software to your web pages, (not really a big deal) but having said that it would be lovely to have it seamless.  There is a lot of useful data contained in the files which im sure could enhance your website and make other polar users smile too...

If It were realistic to import those files I, for one, would be happy to use just your website as overall the additional functionality you offer as a "community absolutely superb
Polar offer support documentation on their website for both file types and a toolkit to enable direct upload to your website via infra red

Cheers  Robin

Hi John

Currently I have the new rs800cx but previously have used the F4 and the s625x.   The 800 seems to bring running cadence and a few other bits to the party which were not available in previous software releases.  For interest I backed up and then restored all my data from v4 to v5(new) of the Polar desktop software and everything works as before so I expect there are just extra tables in the new database.  The GPX file is created independantly of the .hrm and .pdd/w files

There are documents available on the polar website under the support pages detailing file structure etc and if you needed any sample data files give me a shout.  Incidentally most of the newer polar watches come with infrared file transfer. Weblink on the cheaper models, and the older ones use sonic link (which are both soundfile transfers)

I look forward to the future :-)

Kind regards

Robin
