Is it just me, or is it normal to notice more aches and twinges during tapering for a marathon? |

I've turned from a normal person into a hypocondriac and now tend to visit all sorts of people ranging from chiro's physio's, podiarists, the list goes on and on. |

Absolutely. I felt terrible during taper! It all came good on the day. I think part of it is the body rebuilding as Mark says, and probably some of it is psychological too - getting closer to the big day, I start to worry about every ache and pain. |
