Well I've taken the plunge and entered my first race which is the Coventry Half Marathon on 23rd May 2010, it's not on the GRG calender list yet, here's the url http://coventryhalf.com/ I'm probably looking for on or two 10k runs before then around the Tamworth/Staffs and Birmingham area to experience running with others. I should be well up to the distance by then and all I need to concentrate on is times. |

Hi Derek. Good luck with all your training for the Coventry half marathon. I haven't run this one myself so can't give any first hand info on the race itself but it does look a good one to choose as a first half. I have entered the basic details on the GRG race listings so now it can be transferred to your training planner if you wish and logged when the time comes. |
