I've recently started wearing Skins compression tights to keep my poor old legs from turning blue, and I like them. |

Shorts over the top of mine - don't like to scare the neighbours ! Doesn't matter what you wear underneath then. |

I have been using Skins for about a month now and I cover up with jog bottoms and wicking tops but that's more because of the weather. I find them excellent at reducing muscle fatigue although they are a bit pricey, and of course I look nothing like the chaps and lassies that model the skins on their website so I would look good in them without anything else on. I tend to give them a cold hand wash at the end as they dry quite quickly. I tend not to wear underwear under them as I think it may counteract the compression and wicking ability, you could wear the underwear over them but that would make you a superhero !!! |

Guys, I hadn't considered the superhero idea and don't think I'll be trying it anytime soon though. I tend to wear underwear to keep things under control but do feel a bit exposed in my Nike tights which are pretty good otherwise. I tend to favour a long top to cover any meat and two veg although in this weather more like a chipolata and split pea! Linford has nothing to worry about here.

Ha, can totally relate your comment Andy. The wintry conditions and the occasional ice bath do nothing for a chap's self-confidence. |

I wear shorts or tracksuit bottoms over the top- always. In this weather id strongly advise tights then tracksuit bottoms at all times as the cold can really do your muscles an injury. |

Mine are too tight to wear anything underneath (3/4 length Salomon tights) so for modesty it has to be the long top. Can't beat them - although I'm surprised how much cooler they are than the old Ron Hills (which I wear shorts under). The Salomons are staying in the wardrobe in this weather... and the Ron Hills are doing their turn of duty today. I'm terrified that one day that I'm going to catch the Salomons on a barbed wire fence or similar and have the fabric pull back like a balloon popping leaving me exposed only too literally! |

A couple of years ago I found some "Ultra Sport" briefs from M&S that I've never has any trouble with under my RonHills. Might be worth seeing if they still make them? 94%Polyamide , 6%Elastane. Always do the under-job for me. M&S item code 1034 899. |
