Thanks all - and well done Keith.

I'm also gradually increasing my distance. I run 3 times a week, Monday being a steady shorter run, Wednesday a 3K speed/tempo session, and Friday being the 'long' run. My plan is to stagger the increases between my Monday and Friday run - so I'll stick with my long run at 10K for a few weeks while I increase my Monday run up to 6K, then increase my Friday to 12K for a few weeks, then lengthen my Monday to 8K... and so on. Going to keep on the short speed sessions though, as I really enjoy running 5Ks.

Good morning! Just back from my morning run, and todays was a bit special for me - first time running 10K, and also my 200th mile since I started back in April!

The weather was fantastic - set out this morning to a clear dark sky with Orion watching me over my right shoulder and the sky gradually getting lighter as I ran. Sun was finally up just in time for my post-run stretches - perfect!

The run felt really good, I took it slow and steady, so finished a few seconds over an hour which I am happy with. The last few long runs (9K) I had found mentally challenging for the last few Km, but none of that today thankfully!

Just six months ago I would not have believed I would EVER run this far, and a huge part of this achievement is thanks to this very website. If ever in need of advice or motivation or a good laugh, I always know where to come :o)  So thank you!
