Thank Mark. I've kind-of given up on it to be honest. I think the idea is that it helps speed up the metabolism and burn fat, but it doesn't fit terribly comfortably so I'm just doing a bit of sprinting around instead. |

Hey Burtie, I wouldnt advise you run on concrete with it on, if you are going to use it stick to trails. But im with Andy, be very cafeful how you use it and dont overdo it. M |

Actually I can't see the advantage of wearing one while running as it would surely increase the stress on the legs and increase the chance of injury, unless of course you are specifically trying to increse leg strength. One of my clubmates used to run with hand weights to make each run 'count' more but he was always getting injured :) |

Hello all. In a fit of pre-Christmas spending, I bought myself a weights vest. I've not really used it much, and thought I might start to incorporate it into my training. |
