Well done Philip. It is tough to keep going in continual rain. If you feel like doing this again, then you might invest in a pair of waterproof socks. I swear by them in the winter - nice & warm and dry feet, never had a problem training in the ice & snow and temperatures down to -5c. I have a pair of Sealskins.....and a major benefit is that as your feet stay dry you minimise the sort of blisters that you have suffered today. |

Managed to complete st.Albans half marathon (WALKIING),with a bit of jogging down the hills,rained so nice and cool,came 46th out of 300,well pleased,time 3hr 13min. feet very sore, 4 huge blisters on right foot,trainers were sopping wet towards the end of coarse. |
