When I uninstalled express I couldn't use Garmin OR grg. I got exactly the same problem on GRG regardless of Express being installed. Also, I don't have a 'programme data' option on my C drive?

p.s. I am having to reply to this on my phone because I can't post to the forum on my PC. I get the text box to type but can't type anything???

Hi John - yes not changed anything except the watch.

I have now had to re-instal Express because i couldn't upload anything from the garmin, even to garmin connect without it. I have worked out how to manually upload the data onto GRG using the TCX file, but I got the watch specifically to make uploading easier and not more lengthy. I know I could just stick with Garmin Connect but I love GRG.

As I say, GRG recognises the ANT stick, I click 'upload' and  it says it is uploading but nothing happens.

Hi- I have just upgraded my Forerunner 305 to a 610 but am unable to upload my run onto GRG.

I have seen previous forum comments about uninstalling Garmin express (which I did) and the possibility of a corrupt recording, but I am on Windows 8 and don't have a 'app data' file to look for?

Basically, I can upload the run to Garmin connect, but when I try to do that on GRG I get an 'uploading data' message and nothing happens. I have manually uploaded this time around using a data file from garmin connect but even then it changed my splits and pace (for the worst).

My main issue though is not being able to upload from my new 610 onto GRG which is my preferred place for storing my run data. I don't want to have to do this manually each time
