Thanks - yes, quite a satisfying end to the year. I would have taken my Garmin but it decided to have a technical fault the day before - never mind. Sounds like you are a bit of an ultra distance runner if you were tempted at the last minute - good luck on your next one. |

I couldn't manage without a garmin anyway - but it's not as satisfying as passing the actual mile markers! Surprised they didn't have them. Well done on a good time - a great end to 2015 for you. |

Yes it went fairly well thanks - I just scraped over 4 hours so happy with that. It was nice and low key and well organised and good to be off road. The only surprise was that there were no mile markers at all and having no GPS it was hard to pace. so, if you do it next year I do recommend you wear a GPS!
