I agree it gives an extra dimension to a run. Locally to me South London Orienteering and Wayfarers (SLOW!) organise some great inexpensive events. I've done a few and they are great fun with a good atmosphere. The link is sloweb.org.uk. |

Totally agree - brilliant sport for all ages - from young to over 80. Small events as well as big internationals where you can pit yourself against runners from all over the world, whilst still in the UK (of course you can travel to the events abroad as well)...... well worth a try. :) |

Seriously......its the best sport ever! It not only physically challenging but also mentally, as you need to navigate yourself to a series of control points, whilst running on different terrain. Search for a club near you at http://www.britishorienteering.org.uk/ ! Enjoy! :D |
