Description
A fabulous road race set in the heart of the beautiful Eden Valley.
Sunday, 21 October 2018 will see the return of this half marathon which starts and finishes at Appleby Sports Hall.
The circular route takes you from the historical market town of Appleby-in-Westmorland, through the areas picturesque villages of Murton, Dufton and Long Marton, along the foothills of the northern Pennines with views, on a clear day, of Blencathra and the Lake District. A souvenir mug filled with warming soup will await each runner at the finish.
