Now in it's seventh year, the River Thames Half Marathon takes place over a flat, fast, scenic and largely traffic free course along roads and towpath in Surrey. It is a perfect preparation event if you are running a marathon in November such as Florence or you want the challenge of running a half marathon.
The start and finish is in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey KT12 1QW. The 13.1 mile route goes along the roads and towpath of Surrey. Along the route there are water stations, mile markers and plenty of friendly marshals. Prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female, F35, F45, M40, M50. Plus spot prizes.
There is ample car parking close to the start, toilets and baggage facilities. All finishers will receive a bespoke medal and goody bag as you cross the finish line plus you can download a free race certificate at home.
