Whether you’re chasing a new PB, stepping up to a longer distance, or taking part with family, this event delivers a brilliant atmosphere from start to finish.

Run past the famous Gateshead Millennium Bridge, BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art, The Glasshouse International Centre for Music, Tyne Bridge and Swing Bridge, all set against the vibrant backdrop of the River Tyne. Every mile offers a mix of scenery, support, and smooth running on traffic-free roads designed for an enjoyable race experience.

Your finish line awaits at the renowned Gateshead International Stadium, the North East’s only IAAF-standard athletics venue. This iconic stadium has welcomed world champions and Olympians, and now it’s your turn to cross the line on the same track where records have been set.

This ROAD CLOSED course takes in the famous landmarks of Gateshead including Gateshead Millennium Bridge, The Glasshouse ICM, BALTIC, Tyne Bridge, Swing Bridge and finishes in the iconic Gateshead International Stadium — finishing by running around the track and crossing the finish line cheered home by family and friends.
